If you still feel like going with reliance broadband then good luck. I have not had a chance to use reliance bradband yet but I will surely get a connection as and when it becomes available in my area just to try it out.If you are using reliance please do leave your comments on the kind of service you have recieved till now for all of us to know the reality.

I took up a Reliance wireline (ADSL) broadband connection a couple of weeks ago after getting thoroughly disgusted with Tats's perrennial downtime problems.
The service was prompt and customer care is very reactive and Reliance deserves all the credit for that. However, the speed (I have opted for what they call 'upto 2mbps' speed) is abysmal. A couple of comparisons to illustrate my point:
Download speed with my earlier Tata connection was around 200kbps as against 15 kbps with Reliance. I tested my friend's BSNL connection speed on speedtest.net and it was 1754 kbps, the corresponding figure with Reliance is 130 kbps. Its shameful. I hope they do something about this. A cheating of customers on a massive scale is underway, I am afraid. (Tariff and speed plans of all the three ISPs discussed here are similar).
